Bio
I am Kimberely Maddox, wife, mother of two, special education teacher, and advocate. Through teaching students with intellectual disabilities and challenging behaviors, my passion for special education advocacy was born. This advocacy also includes parents, as I have witnessed the challenges they face while navigating through the education system, specifically special education.
I have been an advocate for many years, but not until recently did I decide to step out on faith and launch Exceptional Educational Consulting. I am a firm believer that every child has the ability to learn, however it's up to us to determine the best methods.
I have dedicated my professional career to ensuring that all children have access to a quality education. Through commitment and a genuine love for my profession, I strive each and every day to provide effective treatment that supports the development of functional life skills and sustainable behavior modification.

Educational Consulting
Exceptional Educational Consulting offers full service, knowledgeable in special education, Section 504, behavior intervention plans, and advocacy for students with disabilities in Central Alabama. This process is often intimidating, frustrating and confusing for parents but I can help you every step of the way.
Behavioral Consulting
I have many years of experience working closely with teachers to improve learning behaviors and help students get the most out of their schooling. Whether the classroom is a calm, easy-going environment or one that is loud and hectic, we understand the importance of a student learning from his teacher, so we strive never to get in the way or step on anyone's toes. We want only the best for the students and aim to support the teacher's goals and to work with teachers and staff to provide behavior assessment and effective interventions for improving behavior and learning.

School Consultation
